Hello! It's Pink Saturday with How Sweet The Sound again. What a fun blog party!
Today I have a pink teapot in a pattern called Summerfield from Royal Patrician who closed in 2009. It was a great quality English made pottery, and is definitely missed! And the teapot is...pink!
The teapot is quite large and I like it's traditional shape, like the brown betty teapots that speak of home and hearth and everything homey...or if you're a Brit...homely!

They other day at a local flea market I chanced on a hardback book by noted designed Cath Kidston called Vintage Style - Creating A Complete Look For Your Home from 1999.
I have shopped at Cath's stores in the UK and have a Cath Kidston designed Google Chrome homepage. Even her end papers in the book are so Cath Kidston!
The book has both text and lots of gorgeous color photos of her own house.
I loved this closet with different comforters, blankets and covers. I tried to choose pages with pink!
Have a great Pink Saturday and enjoy your weekend!

Everything is so pretty and delightful, but that dear little teapot is what stands out the most for me!
HPS!

Love that teapot! Can just picture that in a garden somewhere - and nice and large so needn't be refilled to often, giving you more time to visit.
That book looks great - that vintage look is classic, considering it is already 13 years old.
A lovely post!
Love the teapot. It was so sad that they closed. Happy PS.
Smiles,
Ruth
I love your antiques, Ruth! Thanks for stopping by and thanks for your encouragement. Great blog pics.
That's a cute teapot, Ruth! Homely ~ isn't it funny how terms differ from country to country? Homely here in Canada means not very pretty, even rather ugly. I like the version homely for meaning homey and cozy! Happy Pink Saturday.
Blessings,
Sandi
Hey there.Happy Pink Saturday. I was drawn to that teapot when I logged on with my link to Beverly's blog yesterday. I've been doing other things and am cheating by taking time out for this! (My bad!) But, thought I'd stop here first. Sad to hear the company closed. It's an adorable teapot. Looks homey, or here Texas we might say "downright homey". :) Jenn (PS I see that your blog doesn't allow for me to use anything other than my Google account. My blog is actually on WordPress - if you click my icon, you'll need to click once more to get to my blog. )
Hi Ruth,
I really enjoyed looking at your blog. The Royal Patrician teapot is lovely. I noticed on your profile that you like Shelley china. Did you happen to see the group of Shelley china in the display case in my Replacements, Ltd. post?
Thanks so much for your visit and your sweet comments. I'm now your newest follower. Have a great weekend!
